Before that, I just want to ask something. Have you ever experienced serving while you are spiritually dry? My definition of being spiritually dry is the absence of soul nourishment. It is where worship songs become ordinary songs, worship events become plain happenings, talks become simple words and serving becomes an obligation.
For the whole school year, I felt that way. I lost my way at some point and just come to events for the sake of attending. I felt empty.
I was recently called to serve a CFC event, “Magnificat”. I can’t exactly remember the actual definition of the word but it has something to do with celebrating Mama Mary. The event was a day for “firsts”. My first time to be a stage manager, photographer and be with my fellow YCOM for an entire night. However, it was not just a day of “firsts”. It was a day of renewal. The event shot my heart like a bullet.
It reminded me of something that I had forgotten for a long time, my purpose.
It just reminded me that no matter how many times you fail and make mistakes, God will always love us. God’s love will never change. He is still our Father ready to forgive us no matter what. At that point, worship songs became love songs between me and my God. The event was no longer an ordinary happening. It became my life’s highlight. After that amazing experience, I becamerefueled, refreshed and ignited! The exact feeling can’t be explained through words.
Being spiritually dry was definitely a challenge. As God’s servants, we must be patient and continue on praying for His wisdom. We must always go back to the purpose of serving and hold on to the promise He made to us.
I still have the “Magnificat hangover” until today. I keep on singing Hillsong’s “One Day”

I have been thinking lately…
They say that love is just around the corner, but what if it’s just in front of you? I think everyone has experienced to search and wait for the kind of love that a person always yearned to feel. Yet sometimes, all they have to do is open their eyes.
In our community, we are taught that real love waits. And yes, it really does wait but when will the waiting stop? How will you know that you have found it or love has found you?
So here’s my theory, I think these are some of the questions that bothers the most who are eager to find it. And so, what we sometimes do is fall. It could be for the wrong, the semi-right/wrong or the right person. Falling is unpredictable because you are never sure how it will end. Therefore, it is a very big risk.

Hello! This is my 14th day in Robinsons Retail Group. I was just surprised to learn that tumblr.com isn’t blocked here in the office.
On my first day here, everybody thought that I was the shy type because I don’t talk much while I do my tasks which was unusual for me. The first week was very exhausting not only because of the tasks but also the “commuting” part. I have to travel for two hours and have four rides.
The following week, one of my supervisors told me “Ang tahimik mo kasi” then I said “Madaldal po talaga ako, nahihiya lang po ako”. I was very busy the whole week because the company will have two openings this month.
I have no regrets so far and I think that’s what matters most.
